The Air Car factories

The production concept of The Air Car Factories S.A. differentiates from the classical way of producing and distributing cars. The aim of our production concept is to manufacture and sell cars locally. This way of producing has a number of great advantages.

       

Most car manufacturers work with one main plant situated in an industrial area. Raw material and different (sub)components are collected there and the car is produced and assembled at the plant. The new cars are then transported to distributors, who distribute them to their dealers before reaching the customer.

       

This way of producing and distributing involves a lot of transportation; different raw materials and (sub) components have to be transported to the production plant, the new cars have to be transported to the different distributors, to different dealers and eventually to different customers. The different ways of transporting new cars, for example by airplane, boat, train and truck, are all very contaminating to the environment because of their CO2 emissions.

       

We believe that this is not necessary. Our solution lies in simplifying the logistics; no distributors, less outsourcing and more smaller production plants.
